Just saw another body-exchange movie on Turner Classic Movies: “Turnabout”, from 1940, more about changing gender roles. Kind of funny.

The squirrel has to want to change back in order for it to work. Next week, Poncho’s friends will get him to want to go back and then it will work.

Still the same Poncho in a squirrel body.

With a BONK that hard failing the boyz may have to drop squirre/doggie from a very high ladder onto doggie/squirrel. Shame on you, Poo Poo, for being SO enthusiastic about repeat BONKING.

Also, I would say that the ‘switch-back’ didn’t work because they both hit their heads on the windowsill instead of against each other. At least, that’s what it looks like … Interested to see how this arc will end. In most body switch stories, two people are switched because they refuse to get along in some way, as is the case here. The ‘switch back’ only happens when they start to understand each other, having literally walked a mile in the other’s shoes. I think, in order to turn back into a dog, Poncho should be thinking less about physical pain and more about what it’s like to be a squirrel …

Like I said at the start of this arc, bonking heads didn’t work in Freaky Friday either.
