I remember having to change out the ‘storm’ windows for the screens every year. I had to do it as my dad was too busy being a travelling salesman. What was real bad was five windows on the second floor so I could sleep up stairs during the summer—real fun juggling 2.5 × 2.5 foot windows down and 2.5 × 2.5 foot screens back up a 10 foot stepladder that was made to fold in the middle ! ! !!

Right now it’s scrape/sand/paint the woodwork around the windows at my house.
