The 80’s…. aaggh…Flashdance clothes, “Hair” bands….as 2Old said, big hair… I especially think of those huge bangs..The teenage girls in the mall teased them straight up..and using half a can of hair spray, glued them into a high, smooth wall. I skipped it. I was busy.

Peter is a little off… So-called Gen Xers are the ones born during the 20 years after us baby boomers… about 1964-84.So some were kids in the late 60’s..some in the 70’s and 80’s.

Templo, you can’t be in a generation for 5 years….You’re part of it or not, your whole life… I think you said you were 30, so you’re probably, technically, a Millennial…also called Gen Y…. those born 1985-2005 or so….not that the names make much difference.

They’re having trouble inventing a name for the generation born since then…For now, I call them children.

Pre- war, I guess, I was born in 1938, and they didn’t have any name for us, we were kids.

    What’s your generation?

Mostly nuclear and some coal. Not much hydro-electric in Minnesota…
