Oh come on, can’t you clamor a little bit? The judge would love it.

Clamor, I barely know her!

When I practiced law, I found that most people didn’t want justice. They wanted VICTORY–and for other people to call that justice.

Would that be the Manhattan or the New England clamor? (I prefer the Rhode Island clamor, myself).

Clamor yourself, you brought her here!

If you head far enough North (or South) eventually all you’ll see is just ice….

Absolutely true. People blame the lawyers for everything, but it’s the clients who cause most of the rancor, and it’s not a new phenomenon. “No! I don’t want to settle! I want VINDICATION, and I want it part of the public record! What do you mean ‘We lost’? What kind of lawyer are you?”

You know when a lawyer is lying….whenever his lips are moving.

Lawyers can be disbarred for lying. They can, however, be very selective in the truths they tell. That’s the whole principle behind legal argument; convincing the judge or jury that MY truths are more important than YOUR truths.

You do not get justice - you get lawyered.
