So the guy was supposed to take a sip of wine but drank the whole glass. This upset the court jester who pointed out to him that he took more than just a sip. But then the dude said, hey I don’t generally drink more than you because you’re always drunk – nobody drinks more than you.So what was worse? Not getting the joke or this explanation ;-)

See, it lost something in translation.

And to top it off- bad grammar! Should’ve been “You drank more than I did,” and “Nobody drinks more than you do.” But Bung is too drunk to remember that, and Rodney’s not very bright. And it would have blown the gag setup.

There is an old Laurel & Hardy scene where they want to buy a soda but only have enough for one soda. They decide to share, and Stanley wins the coin toss and is given the soda to drink his half.

He proceeds to guzzle the entire soda much to the chagrin of Ollie, so Ollie asks Stanley why he would do such a thing!

Stanley replies, “Well, my half was on the bottom!”
