Reminds me more of ‘Early Distant Morning’ by Rush. The video has a boy joyfully riding across the landscape on a missile dropped from a bomber (albeit without the spiffy cowboy duds).
I have had an epiphany… MT must have been heavily influenced by Dr. Strangelove. This is at least the third Slim Pickins reference that I have seen in Lio. Love it!

“We’ll meet again Don’t know where, Don’t know when…”
I’d like to make a joke that hasn’t already been done, but there’s Slim Pickins…

Yep, ridin’ through the ole west….an old concept undertaken in a new dimension….outer space. Trust Lio to think of this…
Dad is frozen in disbelief….

Radish, more the anti Slim Pickins –since he’s going up.
Gotta love cartoon physics where you can smash through a wall and neither you nor your rocket is scathed.

Montana Lady & Marge If you like Jim Garner westerns, try the “Support Your Local” Movies (Gunfighter & Sheriff). They are fun.

Lord know why but the first thing I thought of was Ronald Reagan. Sometimes I frighten myself.
