So long as Buster is not the same size as the others, it will work out. Problems arise only when a second arrives who is the same size as the alpha. We have a 10 lb poodle mix who harasses the 80 lb pit-mix all the time. The pit does not care, just does what he wants to do anyway.
My daughter has a pit mix and a baby French Bulldog. Their landlord has a Newfie and a Great Dane- both puppies. They all see the Frenchie as a sort of play toy, but one that runs away when approached with an open mouth.
