Miss Plainwell: Woo! Tough getting yp this morning. Mrs. Olsen: I thought you were a morning person. Miss Plainwell: I like being up early. Getting up early is the price you pay for the priviege. Mrs. Olsen: Well done. You just shot from virtuous to pious. Miss Plainwell: I'm a dog person, too, but I don't live for the baggie. Mrs. Olsen: To a bit disgusting.

It’s tougher with small dogs, especially if they’re not used to you(or your kitchen floor) As regards Miss Plainwell, it’s amazing she doesn’t drink coffee every morning.

I get up eary and don’t enjoy it.When you get up a 4:30 to be at work at 6:00 there is not much room for fun.

When two characters in the same panel have speech balloons, the balloons should be fully separated, otherwise the first impression to the reader is that one character is speaking both connected balloons.
I’m all for individual stylization, but the separation of balloons is a given of the medium. It is confusing when conventions are violated simply for no other reason than to be “different.”
