I thought his name was Thata.

He already HAS a name..

Is Mr. Trap going to make a contest to give the tyke a name? I remember that happening with the sheep dog in “The Barn” years ago. If memory serves, I suggested Grégoire (which means “watchful, alert”) whereas the winning name was Horatio. How about Rodney or Sheldon for the tyke?

My That-a-Baby is named Spencer. He will be three months old on August 1.

If he had another name, the comic strip name would have to be changed – we can’t have that.

how about henny because he’s a young man?

Hrm, There have been comic strips that changed names. Heavenly Nostrils for example. (Though I really liked the original name.) Perhaps this strip is about get syndication like Heavenly Nostrils did. Both comics were finalists involved in the Amazon comic strip superstar contest.

I would vote for "Thata"’ as suggested by Rayannina.

I thought they were going to call him “the baby” for the duration of his comic career.

I’m partial to Aaron or Jordan like two of my sons.

I like that he has no name. (Like the horse in that song.)

If they wait a little longer, Thatababy can chose his own!

Well, turning to the concrete, what about “LeRoy”?

After I first started reading, I kept waiting to find out his name.

I want him to have a name but It pretty much defeats the purpose of the name of the strip

He looks like a Henry to me.

I think something simple and traditional. Magnatron for instance.

…and maybe name Calvin’s parents and Mr. and Mrs. Turner will we’re at it. ;-)
