I was named after an obscure author my mother was reading at the time. Guess thatā€™s why Iā€™m obscureā€¦ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦.

QUESTION FOR YA: Would you guys be interested in participating in a caption contest for valuable, lively, festive ā€œDaddyā€™s Homeā€ prizes? And by that I mean prizes that arenā€™t valuable or lively or particularly festive. But there would be prizes.

@Edcole, Ness was the first Elliot character who came to my mind too - never read it if it was a book, though I remember the TV show.

Vldazzle and Edcole, my first thought was from Peteā€™s Dragon. I guess a movie doesnā€™t really count as a book, but what can I say? Iā€™m from a generation that didnā€™t read much.

TONY TONY TONY You think that the brilliant minds of the posters at DADDYā€™S HOME would sink themselves to low as to enter a contest? Well, you thought right. How does Archibald T Snodgrass sound? No? Well we got a million.

I was named after a comic strip character. What can I say? My mom had a sense of humor! (Since I was ā€œan accidentā€ and the 5th child, sheā€™d already used up the names she liked best.)
