The fish probably don’t care to see new scenery.

6,400 vacationers in one one city must have put quite a strain on the available accommodations.

That bit about the goldfish reminded me of an old sketch from “The Electric Company.” A woman was out walking her pet goldfish, Fido. Another woman advised her to take her wet pet to the vet.

$2,800 for a watermelon?! I’ll never complain about what Wal-Mart charges for them ever again!

The bid was for a densuke watermelon, which is prized for its extra sweet taste. Farmers say they only sell fruit that meets strict standards for sugar content.

Most other densuke watermelons were sold for an average of $40 each. Shipments of the delicacy peak in mid-July.

The densuke watermelon is distinct because it has a black rind rather than the green rind of regular watermelons.‘WorldNow.com’

Are you allergic to anything else? I can’t eat melons either along with walnuts, carrots and bananas to name a few. My throat starts itching and closes up.

So, that old 50s Patti Page song “How Much is that Doggie in the Window” has an error. You really CAN take a goldfish for a walk.
