Wow, I wonder if this is a whole new ongoing character. Wiley is good at changing it up so he doesn’t wind up without any ideas and has to quit.

I love Charlie’s World. Charlie is a great addition to the strip, and a fun change of pace.

Imagination is so sweet.

This is funny: I was struck by how much Charlie reminds me of Jeffrey. I was going to say, “Jeffrey in _________’s strip,” but came to, and realized that Jeffrey is Wiley’s character, too! Wiley has done well in keeping Jeffrey, and I think we can entrust Charlie to him, as well. Maybe the two of them can meet some day, but I recall that the meeting of Danae and Mimi (of the Graevsytes) didn’t go too well.

Charlie brings back fond memories of when my dad’s partner had a little pet I used to walk and play with; an African lion named Tyke who’d been in a number of movies. He was easy to handle, easier than some great Danes I’ve seen kids (or even their parents) attempt to handle.

How are the Graevsytes doing anyway….?

Loved this one, Wiley. Yep, should be interesting when that sleeping dog eventually wakes up.
