I was taught in the old Palmer system. I could make my circles and push-pulls so accurately that it would take magnification to find variations. Yet, my (cursive) handwriting was barely legible and hardly aesthetic. Then effective tremor set in. My uncial is legible only if I carefully draw (not kenesthetically write) the letters. Don’t complain, things can and probably will get worse.
people who have nice penmanship really make cursive a nice thing to know and use.Unfortunately, I am not one of those people and learned to type at an early age.

No one can read cursive, especially mine. I’ve been printing for years. I don’t get the obsession with it!
