This reminded me of the Clint Eastwood movie “The Good, The Bad & The Ugly” where he kept saving Eli Wallach from getting hanged by shooting off the rope.

Luckly he was using a bow with a 5 lb. pull. The point didn’t even penetrate his tights. Bet it hurt, though.
