Viola: I'm going to music camp this summer! Petey: I'm going to some cartoon camp thing. Viola: I'm going to learn a new technique for playing the marimba using croquet mallets! Petey: I'm going to sit in a room studying comic books for hours. Viola: That's what you do every day, Petey Potterpoop! Petey: But there'll be others in the room doing it too. My mom hopes it'll be a big advance for me, socially.

Wow…check out the hill these kids are climbing! Good ole Pittsburgh had some hills like this, some even felt like they were going up at a 180 degree angle!
We had hills so steep that they couldn’t make sidewalk, but put in concrete steps we called “City steps”…

I had to work my little butt off for the money to Boy Scout Camp. You should have seen the smiles on my parent’s faces when the dropped me off. Must have been proud.

Is Petey and Viola’s school one of those where the trip is uphill both ways? My Grandad went to one of those!
