I’ll bet the lawyer has Dale’s video of Burl whipping his head around when he almost missed seeing the Krispy Kreme doughnut shop on their trip to Florida—courtesy of Ma.People like Burl that try to cheat the system—you and me, actually—should be forced to perform some Herculean task, like cleaning the Augean stables by hand.
Burl’s jake-legged lawyer, the one he found through an ad in the back of Community Shopper, wowed him by only wanting 60 percent of any award. Burl, being Burl, got bored reading the contract and quit before he got to the part where his lawyer gets to charge expenses. He will eventually settle for $25,000, out of which the lawyer will take $15,000 plus $9,350 in expenses, leaving Burl enough for ten trips to the Golden Hoof Buffet.
Maybe if they looked under the camp stool they would see a 250 pound load limit. What camp stool would hold any of them without breaking, they would need a big stump for their big rears.
