I’m worried about Rover in that taped shut box. No air, food or water.

Rover missing dinner ought to be a news flash in itself.

I suspect Red found a way to stock the space ship with Milky Bones, don’t worry about the pup!How often do we see the 4 humans in one panel?

Don’t you mean three and a half humans?

Love the Walter Cronkite, “the most trusted man in America” reference and the phrase he used to end all news broacasts.

I hope that in tomorrow’s clip, Rover gets out of that box. Brian, don’t leave us in any more suspense!!

I never knew the Red and Rover comic was that old….maybe that’s why I like it …simple and comfortable.

Lol Red beat me to it!

Poor Rover is locked in a box in the backyard. Poor little guy! Shame on you Red. What would be really cool would be if Martin would go let him out of the box! :-)

And those of us from that age remember Ed Sullivan, Wonderful World of Disney, Bonanza etc too!

I didn’t watch Cronkite. I watched the other guys on NBC.“Good night David”“Good night Chet”….(music plays and credits roll)

There is not tape on the box. not to worry. Rover has to be able to open the box when he gets to Mars so he can get out and “rove”. So guess who gets to decide when he has reached Mars? ROVER!

It’s on TVLAND and I think on ‘INSP’ too. Gunsmoke I think is still on TVLAND. Still watch both when I can!

And as for the Ed Sullivan Show, I can remember the night the Beatles made their debut in America! The next day at Catholic school, my friends and I were all out on the playground at recess and talking about the Ed Sullivan Show and picking which Beatle we liked the best! We were SWOONING 10 year olds at the time! :-D Oh the good old days!
