Sigh. The local Wally World had 3 aisles of Halloween merch up 2 weeks ago. Then in the near-outdoor-area, by the leftover summer junk, they have one lonely box of Christmas lights. Sadly, it was opened and had a shelf price tag. How does that happen?

I live in Salem, MA. We have one foot in October all year round. Like New Orleans does with Mardi Gras.

What the heck. Have them put out the summer stuff also and just leave everything out all year. That way we can just pick, choose or ignore.

Mom aways hated that Thanksgiving decorating seems to be squeezed out.

I’ve seen lots of Halloween stuff up but not Thanksgiving, which is weird because Thanksgiving comes BEFORE Halloween.

This isn’t even a joke, it’s just the way things are, even 5-6 years later.
