Stewed Spinach was the bane of my elementary school lunches. Green fibrous glop, tasting like the can it came in. Still better than the Chef’s Surprise.
Reminds me of when I was pregnant. My doctor asked if I was nauseous. I told him only when I ate veggies I didn’t like. He told me that’s what the prenatal vitamins were for, that I didn’t have to eat those veggies.
I have an uncle that picks weeds and eats them, he also boils them which doesn’t make them any better…he says who decided what plant should be eaten and what one should not.
I say the store does, if they sell it we should eat it…maybe one day he’ll eat some poison ivy or something and decide to stop doing that.

I’m with him. Raw veggies are delicious but cooked ones…SPEEWWWWWW!
