When we lived in Tallahassee, there was a restaurant(BBQ)on the west side, I think it was on the Pensacola Highway, that when you walked in the door, you heard a pig âOinkâ! That was the best BBQ I had tasted in a long while. Unfortunately, when I drove out that direction, the last time I was in âTallyâ , it was gone ! ! ! !
Just north of Ozark, AL, on 231 was a BBQ joint on the west side of the road. Wasnât much to look at, more a shack than a restaurant. They had, hands down, the most succulent, tender, moist, mouth watering piggy imaginable!!! Donât remember the name and in the intervening 46 years of eating BBQ, I have never tasted anything better. Some have come close, but . . .
I worked at a chain restaurant (which I will not name for fear of getting sued)âŠI was told that when we saw a cockroach âdonât look at it, and draw the customerâs attention to it. Kill it when they leave.â The ethnic place behind us had the exterminators out on a regular basis. Where thereâs foodâŠthereâs bugs and vermin. What? You think you can keep them away?
