Mom ALWAYS told me to do all my beautifying in the house before I left. . .then don’t think about it the rest of the day. Used to drive her crazy if I even looked in a store window . . .to this day. . .no beautifying in the car.

I had a roommate is nursing school WAY back when – she had an prosthetic leg. We got along very well except each night when she was ready to go to bed. The leg came off to the accompaniment of FOUR Velcro straps being apart. Shudder. But then I smoked in the middle of the night when I couldn’t sleep, so I had no cause to complain.

My weakness is when people bite silverware!

I used to have Velcro on my trainers. I couldn’t tie laces.

I still can’t.
