Ralph: Where's Penny? I can't find her anywhere! Penny: Hee hee! Ralph: Where could she be? Penny: Chuckle chuckle Wally: I think she's under the blanket! Ralph: I've looked allover the house! Wally: Here she is! Penny: Hey! Ralph: Maybe she's under the couch! Wally: She's right here! Trust me! I know how to find people! Ralph: Maybe she's under the table! Penny: I'm that bump under the blanket, daddy! Wally: I give up! Wally: I love my family, but some of them aren't very bright! Oogie: Do what cats do... Just ignore them!

Some dogs are smarter than the credit we give them. One month after we adopted our fourth dog, Hugo, then a 9 year old 6 lb poodle mix foundling, we were all out back. One of the cats had disappeared. I loudly said, mostly to myself, “Where is Yoda?” Hugo leapt off the deck and ran down to the edge of the woods, stopping one foot away from Yoda. I still am shocked, two years later.
