Did you even know in 1997 Charles Schulz, creator of Peanuts; and Patrick McDonnell, creator of Mutts; both turned down to take part in the April Fools Comic Switheroonie not doing each other’s strips? Although in 1999 the dog from Mutts made a cameo appearance in the Peanuts comic strip.
