How did they calculate the bubbles?

So it was… fate!

At last. I’ve always wondered how many bubbles were in a bottle of champagne.

One! One bubble! Two! Two bubbles! Three! Three bubbles! A-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!

Turn off-a the bubble machine!.(apologies to Lawrence Welk, wherever you are…)

I prefer to think of it as a popped earth pimple…

Pour a glass at sea level while filming, stop frame and count bubbles. Then check the number of glasses in rhe bottle and multiply that nember by your count. Use metric for accuracy.

I feel sorry for the guy who had to count all those bubbles.

I have found,in my anecdotal experience, that Mums Champagne has exactly 82 bubbles rising up to my nose.After the first two sips I added a slice of apple which brought it back up to 95(yes…I counted them before I passed out)

No wonder Thurston Howell III called his champagne “Bubbly,” on Gilligan’s Island.
