Incumbents don’t lose in Illinois. They have divided up the state so there are seldom any races because the minority party is REALLY a minority in the individual districts. Brave souls who venture forth in the name of party loyality, are nothing but sacrificial lambs. Our governor will be an exception even though he is running against an opponent every bit as bad as he is. It will take some strong CHICAGO politics to keep this governor & I don’t think that even the Party faithful in the Windy City will support this governor.
