I don’t think the creature actually exists, but the monster of a myth is alive and well. It’s a part of the culture and a (I’m guessing) a major source of tourist income.It’s OK to believe in ’Nessie; even us scientific types have to enjoy a little frivolity now and then.

J BaApparently strictly a competition swimmer, I don’t think he owns a wet suit, which would be required to swim across.

Cryptids — a fascinating subject! My iPhone dictionary had a long list of such from around the world. Enough to keep one’s imagination going all day. Loved it!
