There you are, Susan and Montana Lady. Get your snacks, beverages and comfortable. Hopefully, the Cliffords have cleaned up after the dog-food incident.

    Here’s the Tailwagger-movie poster:

I watched Starbasset (the human version) yesterday. Same play dough animation.

Hi everybody… and welcome to Day Three of the Rottie Tailwagger Film Festival, in Belchertown MA….

Today’s film, in 4 showings, is “The Thingy” …

in the June 25th  2020 “CLEO and COMPANY”… on Sherpa.

    I don’t think so.

I’ve been a faithful Cleo fan and a faithful friend to its creators…

I’ve gone to see all but a couple of the films…

but, even though this one stars Kurt “Jack” Russell" … whom I was hoping to see, and maybe even pet…

I have to draw the line at “The Ultimate in Canine Terror.”

Even if it were the the penultimate, or the antepenultimate ….

I just can’t go see The Thingy.

While I appreciate the offer of the space behind Claude and Clara’s couch…

Cleveland is far away, and the Cliffords themselves are in Belchertown…. and so am I.

I don’t think I could get into their house while they’re gone.

I’ll go to every other film in the festival….

but for today…. I think there will be plenty of other brave souls to fill the tent.

I’ve explored Belchertown, and found two adorable ice cream parlors here….

    Rondeau’s Dairy Bar…

    And Chubby’s ….

They both have outdoor patios… surely at least ONE will be open.

I plan to go hide away with a sundae….

Montana Lady… would you care to join me?

    Anybody else?

PerkyCat, you’re probably brave enough to see the film….

    But if you’d rather not…

or anyone else who gets sleep disturbances or simply is bothered by canine or any other terror… you’re welcome to come have ice cream.

Or if you guys prefer, we can find an actual restaurant in town…. perhaps seafood… it is Massachusetts, after all.

We can be back in time for the awards presentations and to mingle with the crowd.

Ginger is thinking, “It takes me less than 30 seconds to eat that. Why does it take Jenny 30 minutes to present it? But the last time I jumped up and knocked over the stool, she was soooo upset…OK Mama, I’ll try to be patient….”

Since I never saw this ‘’masterpiece of terror", I can’t say how great Tailwagger’s work on this one was. But since I see that Ennio Muttribone did the music, maybe I’ll sit outside the tent and just ‘listen’ to the movie

Hey, everybody!! Thanks for all the great comments! I had every intention of coming here to join all the fun (after all, Belchertown is only a “stone’s throw” from the ol’ homestead), but I’ve been somewhat distracted with a very sick Max all week. The good news, after an afternoon with the vet and a thorough exam with fluids and meds, is that it all seems to be on the upswing, and he’ll hopefully be back to his normal cutie self within the next day or so! Phew…..!

So, thanks again! And, just to let you know, the Rotty Tailwagger Film Festival is not over yet! Count me in for ice cream, too!
