Wallace the Brave by Will Henry for September 07, 2015
Transcript:
Mrs. MacIntosh: Good morning class! I have a surprise for you. I got us all a class pet!! Students: Awesome! Can we name it Carl? This is epic! I'm freaking out!! Is it a squirrel? Mrs. MacIntosh: TA-DA!! It's an egg. I suppose it will eventually be a class pet. Looks more like breakfast.

I like this comic strip. The only things I take issue with is how derivative it is of Cul De Sac (See Blisshaven-esk strip above) and also, Wallace doesn’t seem especially brave, least not enough to name the whole comic strip after it

I like this comic, too. Everything is cyclical. It’s nearly impossible to create anything today – music, literature, art – without it being in some way loosely connected to what preceded it. Oh, and I think the unveiling of the pet frame is genius. What suspense.

I cant wait to see the adventures that Wallace will have. So far I love the character development and the Illustrations are top notch.

Love this comic and look forward to each post. I guess opinion is just that. On the contrary I have found Wallace to be brave and courageous throughout the strip. IMHO

Are people complaining already? Wow. Well I look forward to seeing their strips that are obviously so much better. (P.S. I’m loving this one so far!)

This particular strip reminds me of that Spongebob episode with Roger the egg.
