It’s really a win-win-win situation. This is the way it works:1. The monks get God to make sucker bets.2. The victim goes to the monks and offers them half what he would pay if he loses the bet.3. The monks ‘settle’ for 90%.4. The victim pays up and gets enlightened.5. The monks split their take with God.So the sucker gets enlightenent, and the monks and God get cash.
