It’s the Bay City Rollers that you should really fear.

When I was a kid, I was afraid of roller coasters. Then I went to engineering school and met the type of folks who design them.

I still haven’t been on one…

no relation (early on I learned a rule about people named farkas - if they’re rich or famous, i’m not related to them… :) ) - but thanks for asking.

yes, the old sausage and legislation rule… how true…

zev.farkas: I can do one better, unfortunately. I used to be a first aid volunteer; when we did duties at the local fair, I had to treat the carnies who operate those rides. They also take them down, load them on trucks, drive the trucks to the next job, and set up and run those rides.

One person we had to try to treat was complaining of foot trouble. He had not removed his boots for over three weeks. Try not to think about that in detail…
