Hey, how about this finger play:

[hold up five fingers, swing them back and forth]

Five little monkeys, swinging in a tree

[shake finger as in admonition]

Teasing Mr. Alligator, “Can’t catch me, you can’t catch me!”

[move hands, palms together, imitating a swimming ’gator]

Along comes Mr. Alligator, quiet as can be . . .

[clap hands loudly, as ’gator jaws]

and snatched a monkey right out of that tree!

Never heard that song before but I remember “Ten in the bed and the little one said, ‘Roll over! Roll over!’”
