A lot depends on when and where we grew up. I was 20 miles from NYC in the 1960s. Huck and Yogi and all the original Hanna Barberas were early prime time. Looney Tunes and Popeye were weekdays, sometimes AM, mostly noon or afternoon. Saturday morning was largely made-for TV and made cheaply stuff.
Back in the day, Saturdays were filled with cartoons and the other days had some but not nearly as much. Of course now we have entire networks dedicated to toons. So kids today can watch them 24-7.

I wish I could love them… but on Saturday I wake up to face all of the errands and chores I don’t have time for during the work week….
