Rat has friends?

If someone said they’d taken Rat hostage, I’d demand proof. Like an ear.

Rats friends know this about Rat, but they’ll still have a drink with him. The milk of animal kindness!

I’m surprised Rat isn’t shouting “Let him go! He still owes me $10,000 from five weeks ago and I intend to collect!”

That hostage didn’t owe Rat any money.

Would love to see the Crocs in that same class with Rat !

Is Rat talking about Cartoon Boy? And who is this “we” of whom he speaks?

This helps explain why Rat has no friends; any he did have have been bumped off by the hostage-takers….

Rat’s just exercising a good classic negotiating tactic: When you’re the buyer, ALWAYS start low. Unfortunately, Rat will stay there.
