It played a recorded, sing-songy message of kindergarten-level tips for staying fit and healthy. Then I had the good sense to call 911, and the same voice began with “Look both ways before you cross the street….”

This nightmare is real for many people who have VOIP phone service. It sometimes doesn’t reach the ‘real’ 911 at night…
