I guess since it’s too late for breakfast, I can do a simple lunch. Nothing fancy, just hot dogs, hamburgers, potato and macaroni salad, fresh cut watermelon, ice tea, iced Pirate Coffee and lemonade?
If Akenta were here, I’d have her bring ice cream.
Howdy Cleo.Work is fine, I spend too much time doing this, you can tell I have most of my work caught up, and some I can’t start until July 1, due to the end of the fiscal quarter. Gee, July 1 already!
Cleo there is 2 Spanish Baldos posted today, one in color, and this one. On the color one Carlos posted a comment with a link to vote.
I have both of them open at once.
Dry, swelter is a word seldom used around here. My job today is to try to get a sprinkler in our irrigation system working. If I can’t then I have to call in the pros. $$$
80’s, 80’s? Oh for pity sake, JFri, I don’t want to hear anymore sob stories about your lousy weather. Of course, on the other hand … .
maybe it just seemed that hot because you aren’t used to hard labor!!!!
Hey, YOU DID NOT SPECIFY SIR!!!
No wonder your temp was 92 over the weekend! I see now! Your sensor was right over your bbq grill, wasn’t it? Now tell the truth!
You both know don’t you, that your present avatars best fit your combined personalities. And just so you know we are knocking on the door of 60 today.

Cleo that sounds intriguing. Never heard of that type of cheese, made from truffles, or is that just the name? I’m always open to trying cheese. I love cheese, unfortunately I have to be very carerul with cheese rolls, pecans, walnuts and such, you know.
Dry, I just had a couple of pieces. I was mistaken when I called it black truffle, but it is a truffle cheese and it has small amounts of truffles in it, enough to give you the taste of truffles. It will be good on pasta instead of parmesan or romano. We eat a lot of Italian food in our household.
Actually you can eat as both. It isn’t as firm as parmo and slices nicely. It is great on crackers, but would really be nice on a plate of pasta as well.
The day is going down the tubes. The sky appeared to be ready to show some sun, now it looks like it could rain. :-(
Don’t worry Cleo! You’ll get your bright sunny day, ONCE MAYBE! LOL! (I’M SORRY, that was mean!! I better behave or you won’t share your cheese and crackers, will you?)
Just watching the weather channnel. sure hope Carmy gets to her destination soon. She may be there since we last heard from her. Alex is strengthening. Raining there already.

Well it is 63 here, but I have to prune some barberry and that is best done when the temps are lower. At least that is what l have to tell myself.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member over 14 years ago
Sounds like a plan Cleo! Keep telling yourself that. BTW, is your back all better, if not, forget the pruning!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member over 14 years ago

Speaking of cheese, I picked up a wedge of Italian black truffle cheese at Trader Joe’s that you can sample.

Oh, so it isn’t eaten as a snacking cheese, but a cooking cheese? Yes, I know you eat a lot of Italian, VERY wise choice!
