    @Tony“Are you grounded?”Not when I’m working with high voltage equipment. One false move and you’re toast – burnt toast.But if I’m working with gear that could be damaged by Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) then I’m grounded though a resistive network (grounding straps) to bleed off any static buildup.

    Well. .. I’m a bit rounded…But i don’t seem to have a 3 prong connector. Does that mean I’m shocking? I know Bev shocks me sometimes.

    x_Tech I was going to say yes I’m grounded ,.but after reading your answer, I’m not at all sure. Maybe…I.think…..Sparks aren’t shooting out my fingertips, so….sure.

    When I was little and my dad grounded my older siblings, I thought it meant he took them outside and buried them up to their neck. I realized later that’s not what being grounded meant.

    @Tony No, but my teenage children are. As much as they stay inside I should make going outside a part of the grounding too. They’d hate it.

    I just recently heard about the attacks in Paris. My heart goes out to the families of those whose lives were taken today.
