Actually, one of Teresa’s cartoons this year did have some useful social purpose. Also, her strip is not nearly as lame as Dick Tracy. Being funny when you’re not trying is the height of lame.) I’ve gotten lots of practical advice from Underpants Man. The girl with long legs is aesthetically pleasing. So, as hard as it is to believe, I think the judging was probably biased. (Okay, there was nothing of any moral value. I’ll give her that.)

I don’t think there is any such award. I think “Teresa” (if that is her real name) made all of this up. And FWIW I don’t think that’s a real shrimp either. I think someone bit the head off of Danny Devito, took a picture, and airbrushed it to look like a shrimp. If there was an award for relentlessly lame cartooning, “Teresa” should get it, and if there isn’t she should create one and give it to herself. That’s what I think.

Congratulations Teresa! For some reason, I didn’t catch the award ceremony. Who hosted? Based on your performance this year, I think you’re a shoo-in for next year too. Nose to the grindstone, shoulder to the wheel, ear to the ground…

I like a cartoon that usually sends my mind into the gutter. By the way Teresa, I believe that is my reclining shrimp that you have your hands on.

some one must like her cartoons since it is on this web site and i guess she gets paid something for that probibly very little because of the content of her strip but we still look at it and make coments.

You should recline and eat shrimp. Matter of fact, take tomorrow off. Do whatever you want. We do expect to see you at your desk early Monday (holiday, smollerday). Get to work. We want a cartoon on the press by 4AM

Actually, Marg, “Teresa” is just a nomme de plume. She is, in real life, the “Lovable curmudgeon” Roy Doty.
