I used to make the stuffing for Thanksgiving Dinner but since the kids have left, it is just the wife and I, so we have a small turkey breast(no dark meat for me anymore), ‘cook on the range top stuffing’ and canned candied sweet potatoes. The pies come from the grocery store bakery(a small pumpkin and a small pecan) !
I’ve noticed that the seasonings that are needed for creating stuffing seems to be from the old Simon and Garfunkle tune:Parsley , Sage, Rosemary and Thyme
Not that anyone will see this but I make cornbread dressing. The basic recipe is on the cornmeal package Mrs. Middleton. Cornbread, chicken broth, celery and onion, and egg or two and seasonings. This year I’m adding cream of chicken soup and making it in the slow cooker.
