MONTANA LADY, My Mom told my sister it was o.k. for me to be named after the lady in your avatar and I have enjoyed learning about her over the years. (My sister was a huge fan of them both) Funny thing, I too sing Soprano but not like she did.
hopeandjoy2…..your Mom was right! It is a good name, and Jeannette was a good role model! It’s great that you have a voice….have you done anything with it?
I had voice lessons and sing/have sang in various choral groups and choirs nothing truly professional…occasional solo. It is a good interest…and fun.
I enjoy seeing the old movies and wish I could have heard her sing in person or at least on better recording equipment. Mom originally wanted to name me after a Tennyson heroine, Lynnette, maybe because she loved poetry or due to her English backgroud but I prefer my namesake!
