It’s all the carbs you eat, NOT tryptophan. Too many people believe it is so when the truth comes out, they don’t want to change their way of thinking. :(
As it points out in Wikipedia, “A common assertion in the US is that heavy consumption of turkey meat results in drowsiness, due to high levels of tryptophan contained in turkey. However, the amount of tryptophan in turkey is comparable to that contained in most other meats.”
