At least they’re having a party. My husband’s employer decided that instead of giving them their Thanksgiving/Holiday gift card they would donate money to charity on behalf of each employee. I mean, really….

Our company still has a party outside of the office. Nice thing is they have it in January so it’s easier to go to without all of the other Holiday scheduling conflicts.

I had a vacation day off when they scheduled the department Christmas party. The boss got mad because I said I wouldn’t be there. [Why else would I take the day off??]
