Not for me. I got my presents on my birthday (I turned 56 a week ago). Only I going to do it in stages with opening my gifts: 3 on my B-day (already done); one on Christmas Eve; 3 more on Christmas Day; another on New Year’s eve, and the rest on New Year’s Day since I treat that as just a regular day.
my best friends and I already exchanged gifts, I made them “morse code” scars, stripped scarves where the stripes spelled out their names in morse code (I gave them the scarves early so they could use them with the cold weather) and since we won’t see each other between today and next Sunday they gave me my gift today, a new tablet (my old one broke down a couple months ago, but there’s a chance another friend can revive it).

My dearly departed Mom couldn’t wait either. She used to neatly & carefully unwrap them, peak, and wrap them back up while I wasn’t around.
