Seriously, know your subject. This comic has been around for at least 45 years! I read it when I was a kid and am over 50!

and he finally got married and left Momma’s house? I haven’t been reading it as long as you but glad you made it past 50. Welcome to the club!

This proves that even the syndicate’s editors don’t bother to read Momma. But seriously – when they farmed this strip out to whoever is producing it (a cut-rate animate studio in Korea?), did they get the list of characters and their pictures mixed up? At least they correctly labeled the eponymous character, but it’s really awkward when the “punchline” is that a brother and sister are worried that they aren’t legally married to each other.

OK, besides the fact that Francis isn’t married and that the girl looks like his sister, isn’t Tina the name of Thomas’ wife? This strip has always been strange to me. I’m truly surprise that it’s lasted 50 years

Clearly, this is supposed to be Thomas and Tina, but somebody messed up and drew Francis and Marylou instead. Which makes it much more disturbing.
