Happy Holidays!

That’s Merry Holidays to you, Buster.

I’m in a quandary. I’ve said “Merry Christmas” since I could speak, but some Christian fundamentalists took me to task for not being properly religioous. Folks from two other monotheistic religions took me to task for assuming they wanted to celebrate a Christian event. Some politically correct folks thought I should say “Happy Holidays.” Social humanitarians were bent out of shape that anyone could be happy or merry when so many were poor, oppressed, sick, and dying. The heck with them all – "Merry Christmas to Paige and all her loyal readers!
