Mom: I gotta get it together here...I'm a young, vivacious woman and I'm acting like I'm a hundred years old. Mom: The call of the "bowflex" and well balanced meals beckons, and I shall heed! Heart: Nice speech, mom. You almost had me convinced you meant it this time. Mom: Sadly, the couch and "the notebook" in HD had me at "hello."

Nope. It’s obviously not a flat-screen TV and therefore not HD.

A few HD tube TVs were made. I saw one in a store once. But there’s no way that flimsy portable TV stand would carry the weight of one of those behemoths!! They were also extremely expensive (as all HD TVs were back then), so she couldn’t possible have afforded one. (The HD LCD TV I paid $2000 for a few years ago would cost about $500 now, and have a better picture and more features…)
