I lost my Jack Russell/ Staffy cross to spinal cancer almost 3 years ago. My wife cant bear the thought of loving a pet like that again to lose it so she doesn’t want another. So I’m a lot like Santa now… I “borrow” dogs… sit and play with them just like Santa is in that strip.

We just got our 2nd stray kitten this year. We now total 6 at our house. At one time, we had 12 cats, but that was when we were younger and could handle the cleaning of the boxes better!

I do the same thing when i volunteer at the shelter.I spend my time with the cats to get my “cat fix”.No way i can have a cat at home. Sweetheart would eat it.
