I know that the poster named eromlig addressed his question to Jim, but I can answer. The original Frank King drawing was in the strip for December 23, 1944. This is Jim’s interpretation of King’s original. And it is accurate to almost the tiniest detail. Way to go, Jim! Thank you for an outstanding tribute to Frank King.
Thank you, Davidf42. I appreciate Jim’s honoring the strip’s founder. He DID do an excellent job! (And I’m glad he’s letting Walt survive. How old must be be now? 120 or so?)

Jim, are these actually Frank King’s original drawings you’re republishing? That would be SO cool!

Coastie: Since you can spell it, what does it mean? Merry Christmas?

Maligayang Pasko is Filipino (or Tagalog) for Merry Christmas
