There was a dog trainer on TV who sang “waaalkies” in a high pitched voice to get the dogs excited to go out. I use it on my dogs.

Methinks “walkies” is a Poncho-only term (not sure I’ve heard Boomer, Hudson, Poopoo, Droolia ever say “walkies.”
