But the cartoonist must love the idiot in NASA who said what he said to give all of them these cartoons.

So many cartoons from such a stupid comment.

It was the Muslims that co-opted others’ inventions, using the power they seized by the sword, in expanding the Islamic Caliphate from Mecca to Madrid.

They are led in a Second Expansion since 1979, by the extremist Jihadist radicals who began seizing power in Iran, and intend to retake every acre once held by the Ottomans and expand that to all the earth, again, by the Sword and bloody conquest if the slower absorption method via immigration and a high birthrate isn’t fast enough to satisfy leaders like Ahmajinadad, who think that ridding earth of non-Muslims will bring back their Super Imam.

Then they’ll claim credit for inventing the PC and the Internet and space travel and Coca Cola.

disgustedtaxpayer really doesn’t like Muslims. He talks down about their history as though Christians didn’t do the same thing.

Y’know, like the Crusades or building the U.S. by themselves.

Muslims really do need something to be proud about, for the only thing they invented is a death cult that served as the greatest military tool to conquer the World.

MR has two jokes going on this toon:

That Muslims invented math; One of 0bama’s new primary responsibilities for NASA is to make the practitioners of the “religion of peace” feel good about themselves..

^ That’s quite a combination of ignorance and bigotry.

I don’t flag. I don’t believe in censorship. Why do you suggest that I “thrive on silencing the opinions of others”? Whom have I silenced?

You seem sort of “sour”, do you need a “lift”, Lonecat - to sort of get in the spirit of things? Try this: http://www.gocomics.com/rubes/2010/07/14/

^ “Are muslims known for their violence?” That’s a silly question. One could just as reasonably (and just as unreasonably) ask “Are Christians known for their violence?”

I stand by my judgment that your comment was ignorant and bigoted. Ignorance: Do you really know enough about the history of Islamic culture and society to make any sweeping claims or judgments? How much have you read about Islamic history? Bigotry: Do you really think it’s fair to judge an entire culture by its very worst representatives? Would you be happy if Christianity were to be judged by Torquemada?Or extremists in Northern Ireland? Or by the St. Bartholomew’s Day Massacre? Or by Rev. Paul Jennings Hill, James Kopp, and Scott Roeder? Are these typical of Christianity? I think it would be ignorant and bigoted to judge all Christians and all of Christian culture by these examples.

You have some intelligence and some degree of moral feeling. Why not try to develop these instead of making ignorant and bigoted comments?

Sorry, lonecat; like your Lib-buddies, you must have little experience with people who deal in absolutes. Look at any muslim community; well-established or newly-founded, the trend - no, the fact is the implementation of Sharia or muslim law and the penalizing of foreign religions and western values. There is no “Cosmopolitan Mohamedism”; they infiltrate by sword or free access, avoid assimilation, and eventually supplant the societies where they continue to grow. If research is so important to you…tell me where there is universal, secular and religious freedom in any Muslim Nation.

The scariest thing is to see self-appointed muslim-apologists and academics stand up for the most intolerant and anti-foreign, anti-freedom religion known to mankind. What you allow for Muslims you would never tolerate under peaceful Christianity, even.

Another pet peeve I have is Internet-Comic-Site-Perfectionists: They seem to think they can establish someone’s value by how well they handle debates, information, and grammar, etc. - this must be why the rest of the world shuts them up in “colleges” and “universities” ; so the rest of us can have some peace every once-in-awhile.

No evidence, just assertion and distortion. Waste of time.

    “Self-appointed academics”? That’s funny.

To the by-stander, is it just me - or did the lonecat just sprout up in someone’s garden yesterday? We can discuss “peace” and “diplomatic” overtures, international relations etc. But the fact remains that muslimism, by the very bent of it’s autocratic and intolerant nature, has set itself against everyone; the same bent evident as the source for the Libs fear of some who have called themselves “christians” exists in muslimism in spades…It’s just reality, lonecat. Maybe some day in the future there will be enough “moderate” muslims that have enough sense of mind to surrender the reigns of government to secular authorities - but it doesn’t exist anywhere now - even Turkey is stepping up to demand respect for Allah and the Imams and destruction of their Jewish neighbors.
