I once visited m sister in another state, but just days before, a furniture retailer had double billed me for $2800 of furniture we had bought. It wiped out my bank account, and my overdraft, and I had only a few hundred in cash to get us by. We took my sister out to dinner, and went to a fancy restaurant. We got our drinks and looked at the menu, and I realized this was going to cost every penny I had. Fortunately, my youngest was a toddler, and promptly spilled his drink everywhere. I told the waiter “I can’t do this to all these fine people. We’ll take him and go. Sorry for the mess. Just bring me the check for the drinks.” He said not to worry about it, so I left him a few bucks cash and we left. I think the waiter and I hgad the same look of relief on our faces as we left!
I’m with Dale on that! Any place with well decorated walls is going to be expensive. I’d rather see decor from Dollar Tree and cheap prices. Then no one would steal them, since they probably have them at home already..
